Knitted Garments

One of our amazing yet under publicised projects is the making of knitted baby clothes. These are delivered to us by a dedicated network of over a thousand individuals. The clothes are then sent for mothers to use on their newborns to keep away the cold. The pictures show some of the items that have been distributed to Djibouti in East Africa, a neighbouring country to Ethiopia. With the support of these incredible people and volunteers, we are able to help so many people, not only with physical items — but also in the comfort that strangers from other countries care. We have sent thousands of items so far and our gratitude and thanks to all involved and the hope that this project not only continues, but also grows.
