What We Do
Our Mission
For over 12 years in the UK, we have been building upon our ideology of resource redistribution to those in need , whilst maintaining our core ethos of protection and preservation of our environment. Phoenix resource centre’s continuous endeavours to establish strong partnerships with a range of organisations, enables resource led community projects to be achieved. Through our work we help suppliers with physical resource management, saving them hundreds of thousands of pounds per week and helping them reach their environmental objectives.
Repurpose and Redistribute
Our work includes resource redistribution within the UK, and to over 59 countries, both through our own NGO s and collaborative partner organisations. The resources include teaching resources, School and office supplies, clothing and footwear, blankets, non perishable foods, medical provisions and equipment, Medical clothing, and PPE.
Academic and Community Support
The initial epicentre of our charity, focused on the provision of resources in education. Through our resource centre we continue to support local and national educational organisations, schools and colleges. We have independently delivered several art and educational projects in the UK and abroad, from sculptural assemblage workshops in the UK to sensory play areas in Africa. Our work is strengthened through continued partnership projects ‘In The Making’ with Harlow College is just one such project, where Phoenix's engagement is making a difference in our communities.
Build Sustainable Growth Within Communities
Phoenix resource centre is a local charity with a global reach. Our initiatives in the UK and Internationally continue to directly help 1000s. Phoenix has always been ready to support and provide emergency relief aid in times of humanitarian disasters. Whether it’s food to the Czech republic or Kurdistan, knitted blankets and jumpers for children in Djibouti, or hospital and medical supplies, we’ve been able to help those in need, simply through resource redistribution. The providing of resources to communities, with the intent to build long term relationships through sustainable projects, has always been our ultimate objective. As the saying goes “Give a person a fish and they will eat for a day, teach them how to fish and they can eat for a lifetime” (See more…)
